A recent job carried out by Drainworks Ltd in West Byfleet installing a new mini pump chamber.

We installed a Marsh Mini pump chamber for our customers new office at the bottom of the garden.

50 meters of pumping main installed to the nearest foul drain with a small manhole chamber for future access.

All pipe work plumbed to the pump chamber and new soil stack.

All works completed on time and left a tidy site for a happy customer.

A packaged pump station is used when gravity drainage on site cannot be achieved. The waste from the site flows into an underground storage chamber, where it is then pumped to the main sewer. Packaged pump stations can be used for both foul water (sewage) and surface water applications.

Do I need a pumping station?

If any of these circumstances apply to you, then you will likely need to install a sewage pumping station on your property:

The ground level is too low to allow the sewage pipes to travel downwards to the main sewer.
The sewage pipes pass over a ridge or raised ground.
The volume of waste from the site is significant enough that a regular system may get overloaded.
The cost of groundworks to overcome any of these issues would be prohibitively expensive.
By making use of a wastewater pumping station, you can optimise the transfer of waste in a way that reduces cost and increases convenience.
