Mini Pump Chamber Installation

Here is a recent project completed by Drainworks Ltd we completed for a customer – We installed a mini pump chamber and 50 meters of pump rising main to connect to the foul drains. All works completed on time even with all the bad weather!

A packaged pump station is used when gravity drainage on site cannot be achieved. The waste from the site flows into an underground storage chamber, where it is then pumped to the main sewer. Packaged pump stations can be used for both foul water (sewage) and surface water applications.

Do I need a pumping station?

If any of these circumstances apply to you, then you will likely need to install a sewage pumping station on your property:

• The ground level is too low to allow the sewage pipes to travel downwards to the main sewer.
• The sewage pipes pass over a ridge or raised ground.
• The volume of waste from the site is significant enough that a regular system may get overloaded.
• The cost of groundworks to overcome any of these issues would be prohibitively expensive.
